Your purpose & impact:
As the Financial controller at Estrid, you will lead our Accounting department while ensuring efficient cooperation between the Finance department and other teams, as well as stakeholders, dependent on clear system management. 

This pivotal role serves as one of the cornerstones of our business operations, ensuring meticulous financial management and strategy alignment. You will spearhead all accounting activities from overseeing daily operations to developing efficient processes through system optimization.

Some of the things you’ll do:

• Ensure all financial operations are carried out in accordance with legal requirements and company policies, incl. VAT-reporting to different tax authorities throughout Europe with support from local tax consultants.

• Lead the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports, providing insightful analysis on variances and reconciling the books for monthly reporting.

• Be responsible for maintaining and implementing rigorous fiscal controls, regularly auditing processes and records to safeguard against discrepancies.

• Manage relationships with external stakeholders such as auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with all statutory obligations.

• Streamline accounting procedures and implement new software tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.

• Mentor and develop the Accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, professional growth, and shared success.

• Ensure payroll is processed in a timely manner with the help of external salary consultants.
