We don’t know where we will be 20 years from now, but one thing is certain: we would not have gotten this far without the creativity and dedication of a small group of brilliant people that create magic every day.

The Estrid journey has been packed with highs and lows, it is like a never-ending growth spurt. In just a short time we have scaled from an ambitious three-person start-up to a team of over 50, launched on 12 markets, built a community of like-minded people, gathered a team of exceptional talent, and raised millions for charities supporting women – and we are just getting started.
We are proud of the work we have done so far, but there is so much more to do. So much more, and we want it to do it better, bolder and in even more unexpected ways. To try to keep the whole process as unbiased as possible we will ask a few candidates, that match the requirements for the role, to complete an assessment test.
Our people team reviews each application narrowing down the search to a handful of key candidates based on the application material submitted. A lot of thought and time goes into considering who will be asked for an interview.
Our interviews happen in stages, depending on the role and how senior the position is. The process can include anywhere between 1-4 interviews. The first meeting is typically casual, it’s an opportunity for us to get to know each other and ask any burning questions.
Once we have conducted all first-round interviews a representative from the People team will contact a few candidates to move on to the next phase.These interviews may involve our CEO, COO, Heads of Departments, or a mix of everyone! In certain instances, we ask final stage candidates to prepare a time-boxed case. This only happens when we think we could really be a great match and need a little more info into how you would approach the position.
Waiting to hear about a job can be stressful. We get it. This is why we do our utmost to ensure that the process is as frictionless as possible and provide candidates with an answer as soon as possible and keep candidates updated on the process.
If we feel that your skillset, energy, and drive are exactly what we are looking for we will ask for your references and if everything is clear we will make an offer. All other applicants will be contacted by a member of the People team thanking them for their time and informing that we are going in another direction.

Life after work is important too. All full-time employees are offered occupational pension and health insurance.
All Estrid BIPOC employees have the option to join an anonymous Slack group providing feedback and perspective on internal and external work across all departments.
We are working with external recruitment agencies to ensure we reach more BIPOC candidates for positions across all levels of experience from entry to managerial.
In 2020 Estrid donated 100K equally to three organisations supporting Black Lives Matter. The chosen organisations were Grassroots Law Project, Color of Change and NAACP Legal Defence & Education Fund.
We work in close collaboration with an academic whose specialty lies at the intersection of inclusive communication and design. This extra step helps us ensure that we consider different perspectives and create inclusive brand communication.
In 2021 we launched the first Estrid Grant, an initiative that supports individuals who are creating opportunities for under-represented, marginalized women and non-binary individuals in Sweden through initiatives, big and small, that contribute to closing the gap and setting a better precedent for future generations.
