To power this next phase of growth and continue to build our presence throughout Europe through performance marketing, we are seeking an experienced Head of Paid Social to join our team.
Your purpose & impact:
We are looking for a proactive and data-driven Head of Paid Social to join our on-site team and lead our Performance Marketing efforts. As Head of Paid Social at Estrid, we are looking for a dynamic individual with a proven track record of developing and executing Paid Social strategies internationally that enhance brand visibility, engagement, and sales. Reporting to the Performance Marketing Director, the Head of Paid Social will manage a Performance Marketing Specialist and Creative Design team of two to deliver full funnel creatives and strategies to build our paid social channels.
This is a high impact and visible role at Estrid holding ownership of significant marketing budgets and having an outsized impact on Estrid's subscriber base and revenue growth. The ideal candidate for this position will possess commercial acumen and a deep understanding of Paid Social, coupled with a keen creative intuition that complements Estrid’s brand ethos. You should be adept at data analysis, team leadership, and managing high-growth creative pipelines. We anticipate the selected individual to exercise a high level of autonomy, spearheading the Performance Marketing domain while ensuring harmony with Estrid's overarching brand objectives and business aspirations.
Responsibilities:
Performance Optimization: Lead and refine a Paid Social-first acquisition strategy across multiple channels to maximize subscriber intake, reduce CAC, and grow Estrid’s active subscriber base.
Team Leadership: Mentor, and empower the Performance Marketing team, blending creative excellence with data driven decision-making.
Strategic Oversight: Develop and own the Paid Social roadmap, balancing short-term efficiency goals with long-term growth initiatives.
Reporting: Deliver clear, actionable insights to guide budget allocation and campaign optimization in addition to consistent analyses to unlock growth opportunities per channel.
Project Management: Oversee the seamless execution of a complex creative pipeline and manage stakeholders to sustain a best-in-class creative strategy.
A/B Testing: Drive a high-frequency testing culture to rapidly identify, scale, and optimize top-performing creatives, messaging, and audience strategies.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-departmental teams (such as Brand Marketing, Product, Supply) across the business to ensure alignment with wider business objectives.
Skills and experiences important for this role:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in Paid Social and proven track record of leading effective campaigns.
Experience in leading high performance teams.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Additional information
On-site presence 4 days a week in the Stockholm or London office is required for effective collaboration within the team and cross-functional teams and real-time campaign management.
